Dr. Alan Koterba joined AAPB in 2010. He completed Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Allergy/Immunology Fellowship at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Koterba is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. He received his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine in Toledo, Ohio and a doctoral degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science at San Antonio.

His clinical interests include immunodeficiency, chronic sinusitis, urticaria and asthma. He serves as a primary investigator on several clinical research trials and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

Dr. Koterba was voted ‘Best Allergist’ by the Palm
Beach Post in 2021. He enjoys traveling, golf and most of all spending time with his wife and son.
